The growing number of Mainland Chinese who are coming into the market to buy back their national treasures is putting substantial upward pressure on values. More so, it is dramatically reducing the once plentiful supply of quality Chinese art - almost all of which was taken from China by the West and is now flowing back from whence it came.

What remains is a fraction of what had been. Those that wish to acquire respectable collections of Chinese art at even the currently high values should move quickly whenever an important vetted piece appears before it is gone.
