Two Tianqiuping, One Pear Black Ground Vases 18/19thC
A black ground tianqiuping, its large bulbous body rising up to a flared neck where the glaze turns to a deep brown. 19th C. 4 3/8 in. high together with a black ground tianqiuping with lotus flowers amidst tendrils in famille rose. 19th C. 3 3/8 in. high and a black glazed pear vase, the glaze pooling perfectly at the mouth and foot, the base with a probable museum number. 18th C. 3 in. high. Two small foot rim chips

Provenance: Atlanta, Georgia estate

Miniature porcelain vases from the 19th C of this quality and shape are rare. These vases are from three of the fine miniature Chinese porcelain vases made during the 19th C and earlier that came from a single collection acquired from an estate in Atlanta, Georgia.
