The intense blue glaze pooling at the mouthrim and leaving it white and then pooling perfectly at the foot, the base of the deep footrim glazed white with a Kangxi six character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period. Small rim chip repair. 7 1/2 in. diam.

The intense Imperial blue of this rare dish coupled with the deep footrim suggest an early Kangxi dating.
