The rounded sides rising to a flaring rim painted to the exterior with four circular medallions of landscape and river scenes reserved on a pale blue ground finely incised with sgraffiato feathery scroll patterns and separated by blooming lotus and chrysanthemum flowers with leafy tendrils, the interior glazed white, the base bearing a six character Daoguang seal mark in underglaze red and of the period 5 7/8 in. diam.
Condition: Perfect. No chips, cracks, hairlines or other damages.
Provenance: Philadelphia Private Collection acquired in 1992.
